REPEAT OWNERS TAKE DELIVERY OF THEIR NEW PC60
The latest Brokedown Palace features an on-deck master configuration and that same home-from-home feel this adventurous family loves.
They weren’t looking to buy another boat, but when the opportunity presented itself, the family that owned the PC60 Brokedown Palace – as an aside one of the most fun groups in the portfolio of Powercat owners – decided to make the switch.
It was their first time being involved in a new-build process, but as they came into the picture when the yacht was already under construction, they were able to focus on the “fun side”, collaborating with HPC’s Leigh Ford on the interior soft goods and furnishings. The new Brokedown Palace differs first and foremost from her predecessor in that she features an On-Deck Master configuration, whereas the original boasted an Open Salon with the cabins in the hulls. A VIP and twin cabin are positioned in the starboard hull, while the port hull houses an additional twin along with the master stateroom’s large ensuite.
The owners spend their days cruising the islands of The Bahamas, with their friends and grown children visiting often. The versatile deck spaces of the PC60 allow for plenty of al fresco living while soaking in the breathtaking views and turquoise waters. Avid water enthusiasts, the owners also appreciate the dedicated toy and equipment storage onboard. This yacht is also equipped with Horizon Power Catamarans’ own Victron power package system, which marries an advanced battery package with a Termodinamica variable speed air conditioning system for minimal generator usage and up to 20 hours of silent onboard living.
After taking delivery of their new yacht during the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show, the owners have set off into the sunset, undoubtedly bound for their home-from-home.
Going home, going home
By the waterside I will rest my bones
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul
