INTRODUCING THEA: A PC60 WITH AN ON-DECK MASTER AND ENCLOSED SKYLOUNGE
This year, we welcomed the launch of PC60-635, a highly customized three-stateroom build commissioned by first-time Horizon Powercat owners. Christened Thea, this yacht’s defining features include a private On-Deck Master suite, an enclosed skylounge and a Portuguese Deck, with spaces and systems configured for extended cruising.
On the main deck, the spacious salon is arranged around generous sectional seating and large windows. The adjoining galley features a substantial island with seating for three, along with a comprehensive collection of Miele appliances, full-height refrigeration, dedicated beverage storage and extensive pantry space.
The forward master suite occupies a private position on the main deck, offering expansive views and convenient access to the yacht’s principal living areas.
Two additional guest staterooms are situated within the hulls, creating a comfortable three-stateroom arrangement for the owners and their guests.
The interior opens directly onto the aft deck, where a dining table and built-in bar create a versatile setting for outdoor meals and entertaining.
The bar incorporates a sink, refrigerator, ice maker and storage, while the extended swim platforms provide convenient access to the water. Side boarding gates are positioned to port and starboard.
On the upper deck, the enclosed and air-conditioned skylounge provides an all-weather upper-deck living area centered around the main helm station and twin Stidd pilot seats. Lounge and dining areas, an ice maker, integrated storage and a dedicated dayhead allow the deck to function independently throughout the day.
Directly forward, the Portuguese Deck is arranged with two settees and fixed tables that can also serve as footrests. Provision for removable shade poles expands the usability of this private forward retreat.
Aft of the skylounge, the open boat deck incorporates a Steelhead crane, built-in grill and substantial space for tender storage and outdoor use.
This PC60 also includes several features selected for an active cruising program. A dedicated dive compressor supplies fill stations at both the flybridge and starboard swim platform, while integrated rod holders, underwater lighting, a watermaker and solar panels support time spent away from the dock.
Horizon’s Silent Living Package incorporates Victron batteries with a Termodinamica variable-speed air-conditioning system, reducing generator use while maintaining the yacht’s onboard comfort and operational capability – keeping the interior quiet and comfortable for up to 20 hours at anchor!
The yacht is powered by twin MAN i6 850-horsepower engines and equipped with bow and stern thrusters, VEEM propellers and a Zipwake interceptor system. Fuel capacity totals 1,200 gallons, complemented by a 250-gallon freshwater supply.
